The Energy Innovation Hub (EnInHub) is an educational, communication, and consulting platform established at O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv in 2020.
EnInHub was created within the framework of the “Energy Efficiency Reform in Ukraine” Project, supported by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
🟧 Mission:
To promote energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and climate-conscious thinking among university staff, students, local authorities, businesses, and communities.
🟨 Key Activities:
- Certified training course "Energy Efficiency of Buildings and Infrastructure" (3 ECTS)
- Seminars and workshops for academic and professional staff
- Public webinars and awareness events
- Development School “Young Energy Auditor” for youth
- Consulting services for municipalities and partners

📜 Over 248 students trained in energy efficiency since 2024
🧑🏫Up to 50 staff and stakeholders trained annually with certification
🌍Regular webinars, including “Implementation of Best Practices and European Standards in Energy Efficiency” (April 2023)

🏛️ Qualification Center of the Energy Innovation Hub
The Qualification Center of the Energy Innovation Hub at O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv is an accredited institution officially registered in the National Qualifications Register of Ukraine. The Center is authorized by the National Qualifications Agency to evaluate and recognize learning outcomes acquired through formal, non-formal, and informal education.
It carries out the assignment, recognition, and confirmation of professional qualifications, including those obtained abroad. This work is based on a certificate of accreditation and aligned with Ukrainian legislation.
🔧 Professional Standards:
Professional Standard: "Energy Auditor of Buildings", approved by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, Order No. 859 dated September 22, 2023.
📄 Qualification Procedures:
Submission of an application for assignment or confirmation of professional qualification
Review of required documents:
- Personal identification and education verification
- Confirmation of professional experience (where applicable)
- Issuance of a qualification decision
